Arkansas Cremation Questions

Frequent Questions For Arkansas Cremation

Can I call?

Yes. We take phone calls from 8:30 to 5:00 every weekday (except for major holidays). Our phones are monitored for death notifications twenty-four hours a day, every day. All other after hours calls will be returned during normal business hours.

How long will it be before I can pick up?

Plan on 7 to 14 days AFTER the paperwork and payment have been completed.

How long will you keep the cremains?

We will hold remains for 60 days unless you contact us to arrange a different timeline.

Will you call me when cremation is scheduled and/or completed?

Unfortunately, our case load is too heavy for us to keep every family informed every step of the way. We will call you if there is an issue with paperwork or payment.

Will you call me when the urn or death certificates are ready to be ordered/picked up?

When the urn and/or death certificates are ready, you will receive an email with a link to our calendar to schedule your pick up appointment.

Can I drop by the office or the cremation center?

The cremation centers are closed to the public. Our administrative location hours are, for a variety of reasons, non-standard. Appointments are required so that you don’t intrude on another family’s time.

Can I speed this process up?

The cremation process is not fast because it requires multiple signatures and permits - which is what we do for you.

The best ways for you to help:

  1. Ensure that all paperwork is completed and payment is made in a timely manner.
  2. Be sure that the contact information given to us (email, phone number) is current and regularly used. We depend a great deal on email and texts to make things more efficient and more affordable.
  3. Complete and double check all information on the vitals form before submitting it. This is information for the death certificate and Social Security. If you don’t have some of the information, enter “unknown” in the fields.
  4. Give truthful and complete information on next of kin that can legally authorize  cremation. Withholding such information can delay the process and is a violation of the law and the contract you sign with us.
