Tom Thomas, of Little Rock, transitioned after a well lived life of 96 years. Tom was born on February 21st, 1917 to the late Mary and Oliver Thomas of Napoleonville, Louisiana. He transitioned this life in the early morning on April 17th, 2013 as a retired WW II veteran and an active member of the American Legions. After being a resident of Columbus, Ohio for more than 50 years he moved to live with his only daughter and her family for five and a half years in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Inez Chislom, five brothers who are Albert, George, John, Peter and James Thomas. He is survived by his daughter Eula Mae Charles L. Stewart, two grandchildren who are Brian Keith Sharlene and Taryn Lynn Stewart, two great-grandchildren, Bryce A. and Shayla N. Stewart; in addition to a host of other family and friends. Tom can be described as a beloved, active and longtime member of Clair United Methodist Church in Columbus, Ohio with Rev. Mamie Jenkins as pastor.
