Tobias Mathew Bushong, age 36, was born November 30, 1981 to his loving parents, Raymond Jay Bushong Jr. and Teri Rivera Bushong at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. God called Tobias home on completion of his earthly angel duties on November 2, 2018.
He is survived by his father, Raymond Bushong Jr (Tuscaloosa, AL); mother, Terri Rivera (Snyder, TX); sister, Earlene and husband, Cee Cee (Little Rock, AR); brothers, William Bushong and wife Paula (Texas), and James Bushong (Colorado City, TX); nephews, D’Anthony Bushong, Tre McClain III, Mathew Bushong, Aaron Bushong, and Caleb Douglas, and nieces, Arabella and Vanessa Bushong.
Tobias will be truly missed by numerous members of his family and friends. He loved all walks of life. The homeless community will miss Tobias. Most days you could find him taking sandwiches and offering the warmth of the floor of his apartment to the homeless. He prayed with them often.
Tobias was known by many as someone who would literally take his shirt off of his back to help someone in need.
A memorial fund has been set up in his honor at City National Bank of Colorado City, Texas.
