Stanley "Nick" Nicholas Carter, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on November 17, 2015. He was born on July 18, 1958 in Strong, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sandy Savannah and Deborah Carter.
He is survived by; children, Nicole Carter (Kevin), Candido Cook, and Samuel Carter; brothers, Morris Carter, and Ulysess Carter (Joann); nephews, Kaleb and Joshua Carter; grandchildren, Elisha, Elijah, Ezekiel and Ethan Vine, Leah, Leena, and Samaya Mosley, Shantanice, Sinnaca, Deontaye, Sr.Ryan, Miranda, Brooklyn and Zaron Cook; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.
He graduated from Mills University Studies High School in 1976. He went on to earn a Master’s Degree at Grambling State University. His favorite quote was from Shakespeare, "This above all: to thine own self be true... , Thou canst not then be false to any man". He will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service will be, 2 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2015, at Hillcrest Chapel, located at 4401 Woodlawn Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
