Ronald John Martino, 63, of North Little Rock died on Sunday while at home with his family. Ron was born August 25, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to John and Marlene (McCoy) Martino.
Ron made a career serving in the United States Navy, retiring from the service after twenty-three years as an E8- Senior Chief Petty Officer. While serving our country, Ron received many Navy Commendations.
Ron is preceded in death by his mom: Marlene Little; and one brother: Rick Martino. He is survived by his two sons: James Martino and his wife Amberly of Bolivar, MO and RJ Martino and his wife Amy of Little Rock; three daughters: Rona Jacobs and husband Wes of Van Meter, IA; Roxane Martino of Little Rock; and Katelyn Worthman of North Little Rock; his significant other: Brittney Mayo; six grandchildren; his father and step-mother John and Teresa Martino; three sisters: Roxane McCoy of Tonganoxie, KS; Barbie Hull of Maryville, KS and Rosara Anselmo and husband Ed of Kansas City, MO; and two brothers: Joe Martino and wife Lisa and Jasper Martino and wife Anna all of Kansas City, MO; with a host of nieces and nephews.
Ron will have a Celebration of life at Hillcrest Chapel at 4411 Woodlawn in Little Rock on Saturday from 5-8PM, Services will be held on Monday at 12:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
