Norma Starr

Norma Dean (Osborn) Starr, of Ft. Smith, AR, passed away October 26, 2017 after a brief illness. "Dean" was born January 11, 1944 to the late Alfred and Ella Osborn. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Viola Hatch, and her nephew, Berry Coffman.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Baker and her husband Jack, Kevin Starr and his wife Phyllis, Deanna Ward and her husband Michael, and Steven Starr and his wife Kassie; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Jessica, Dylan, Seth, Mikayla, and Stevie Rose; her great-grandchildren, Starr and Alema; her brother Doyle Osborn; her sister Linda Coffman and her husband Robert, and many nieces and nephews. Her best friend and constant companion, a little black dog named Harley, also survived her and will remain with the family.

According to her wishes, there will be no services. The family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to the Sebastian County Humane Society or to any of the homeless shelters or services in Ft. Smith.
