It is with great sadness that the family of Maxine Bledsoe O'Neill announces her passing after many years of struggling with multiple health issues on January 11, 2018, at the age of 73. She was surrounded by her family while at home.
Maxine was born on June 27, 1944, in Hot Springs Arkansas to Warren A. ("Temis") Bledsoe and Mildred B. Graham Bledsoe.
Maxine enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, cooking for her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. Maxine was strong-willed, opinionated, and adamant about what she believed in.
She is preceded in death by her parents and the three loves in her life, Ted Holder, Jerry O’Neill, and Jack E. Sanders. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren: Sharon Porter and her husband, Bryan; Earl Holder; Dana Nichols and her husband, Tom; Tanya Cannon and her two children, Taylor Cannon and Cole Golden; and Jerry O’Neill. She will also live on in the memories of her siblings: her brother, Warren Bledsoe, and her sisters, Margie Horton, Wanda Jones, Dora Albert, Brenda Brazil, and Janice McMahon.
A service in honor of Maxine will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Arkansas Cremation Chapel, 6400 Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock, Arkansas. Visitation will begin one hour prior at 1:00 pm.
