Margaret Esther Zakour, age 83 of Camden, Arkansas passed away on October
20th, 2010 at the Hospice Home Care facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. She
was born in Grand Junction, Tennessee on December 21, 1926, the daughter
of Jo and Easter Bell Carter Finger. She was a homemaker and had served
faithfully in the ministry as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 64 years. Preceding her in death were her parents and some of her brothers and
sisters, her husband, George Zakour, to whom she married in 1943, and a
daughter, Patricia Zakour. She is survived by one brother and sister, a son, Zak Zakour of Hawaii and two daughters, Priscilla Canfield of Camden, Arkansas and Deborah
Zakour of Tucson, Arizona; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren
as well as many precious friends from the congregations of Jehovah’s
Witnesses in New York, Tennessee, California, Arizona and Arkansas. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23rd at the
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 1655 California Ave. in Camden,
Arkansas.
