Judy Hood Taylor, age 71 of Russellville, passed away on March 15, 2011. She is survived by her husband, James Willis, the most loving, generous and patient man in the world. Judy was born on January 22, 1940, to the late Lula Bell and David Riley Hood of Brinkley. She graduated from Arkansas Tech, and received her Master’s Degree and Doctorate of Education from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She leaves behind her children, David Taylor of Dardanelle, Toni Taylor Meghreblian and her husband, David, of Little Rock, and Dr. Robert Taylor and his wife, Kristen, of Fayetteville. She also has 12 heartbroken, spoiled grandchildren who loved their "Gidgee." They are Micah and Jack Meghreblian of Little Rock, and Hannah, Abigail, Lillian, Juliet, Kate, Clementine, Eli, Isaiah, Nate and Noah Taylor of Fayetteville. She is preceded in death by her siblings David R. Hood, Darlene Hood, and Jimmie Lee Hood. Her surviving siblings are Betty Shaw and her husband, Burl, of Brinkley, Bill Hood and his wife, Cathy, of Fairfield Bay, Danny Ray Hood and his wife, Carol, of Kansas City, Kansas, Larry Joe Hood and his wife, Judy, of Brinkley, and her sister-in law, Anna Stewart of Dover. Judy also leaves behind many, many friends who loved her dearly. She would have done anything for them, and they for her. She was a special person who laughed a lot, never judged others, and always accepted people as they are. She will be sorely missed.
