Jody Lee Greenlee, 56 of Little Rock, AR went to be with our heavenly Lord on September 28, 2017. She was born January 9, 1961 in Eau Claire, WI to Nancy and Charles Hotvedt.
She graduated high school in Eau Claire, WI and went on to earn a degree in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Jody had a great love for animals, enjoyed cooking and spending time with her sisters making crafts. She is missed!
Jody is preceded in death by her son, Jawad Akel and her father, Charles Hotvedt.
Jody is lovingly remembered by her mother, Nancy Leazott, her two sisters, Sheri Collazo (Dr. Mel Collazo) and Sue Melton (Russ Melton), her two daughters, Courtney and Erica Akel, her nieces and nephews and her significant other, Calvin Lewis McNeill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72210. www.warmhearts.org.
The family of Jody Greenlee wishes to extend their gratitude to Arkansas Hospice for their support in her final days. A private memorial service will be held for the family.
