Edward Jacobs

Edward Bruce Jacobs went to heaven on April 12th, 2011 at the VA hospital in Little Rock. He was born on September 30th, 1939, the son of the late Henry Arthur Jacobs and Emma Grace Boles Jacobs Allen in Magnolia, Arkansas. He was a proud member of the VVA of Pine Bluff. He was preceded by his stepfather Adele Allen and brother, Richard Jacobs both of Texas, sisters: Henrietta Mann, Emma Grace Hulse, and Malinda McLaughlin all of Pine Bluff. Survivors nclude his wife Melanie Jacobs of Pine Bluff, two children, Tammy Jacobs of Pine Bluff and Timothy Jacobs of Billings, Montana, three grandchildren: Makayla Kimbrell of Pine Bluff, Logan and Trevor Jacobs of Helena, Montana, three sisters: Ruth Carlson, Cleo Godfrey, and Betty Beaman all of Texas, one brother, Robert Jacobs of Pine Bluff, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as his special friends Bobby and Geauchita Cathcara and David and Francis Davis of Pine Bluff. The family would like to give special thanks to his nephew Steven Mitchell Mann for always being there. Visitation after the service will be at the home of Robert Jacobs, 3201 South Palm in Pine Bluff.
