David Ikner

June 9, 1973 — April 8, 2022

De Witt

David Eric Ikner, 48, left this life on April 8, 2022, in De Witt, Arkansas.

David is now at peace, joining his dad, Billy Ikner; his brother, Steven Ikner; his nephews, T.J. Ikner, Russell Ikner, and Josh Ikner; and his great-niece, Alexis McGhee- What a joyous reunion that must have been!

He will forever be remembered and missed by those he left behind including his mom, Carol Johnson; his daughter, Olivia Cephas; his brothers, Douglas Ikner (Angel), Terry Ikner, and Rusty Ikner (Christy); his sisters, Shelia Ikner (Shannon) and Nicole Patterson (Daniel) as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

David was a true lover of life. He never met a stranger and was always looking for a reason to celebrate with family and friends. He enjoyed his chickens and dogs, along with cooking and road trips.

Nothing brought a bigger smile to his face than when he was talking about his daughter Olivia. He was a very proud dad!

David’s death leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who will miss his wild stories, hilarious sense of humor, and generous nature. Despite the sadness that we may feel, we know that David would want to be remembered and celebrated not mourned.

Our family invites you to leave your tears of sorrow at home and bring your tears of joy as we celebrate David’s life.
