Daniel Hensley

Daniel Curtis Hensley, 64, of Shannon Hills, AR left this world peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. He was born in Lonoke, AR on October 16, 1957 and graduated from Lonoke High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Frank Hensley, and mother, Alice Marie (Mowrer) Hensley. He leaves behind his loving wife, Brenda (Olive) Hensley; son, Jonathan Hensley, and daughter, Ariel (Hensley) Brooks (Christopher) and four grandchildren, Silas, Wyatt, Dean, and Maia. He also leaves behind two brothers Troy (Frances) and Tommy (Sharon) and several nieces and one nephew.

Dan was a devoted family man and hard worker. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He could be heard talking proudly about them in his work place. He was a buyer for M3 Millwork but had worked in the building materials industry for 45 years, starting at May Supply. He was known around his office as the "Door Yoda", as they considered him to be the master of all door knowledge.

Dan, hating to be the center of attention, requested no service. His family is honoring him in this way. To celebrate Dan's life, please plant a tree in his memory.
