Lorne Michael Adams, 52, of Benton, Arkansas passed on August 28, 2021. He is preceded in death by his wife Cindy Joyce (Lawson) Adams, 54, who passed on August 2, 2021, they were both preceded in death by parents Joseph M Adams and Linalea Amelia (Hartley) Sparbel, John T. Lawson Sr., sisters Karen Lee (Adams) Bosley and Tina Ann Whitfield.

They were survived by three children Ivy Kay (Adams) Moody of Copperas Cove, TX, Uriah Jeremy Adams of Benton, AR, and Eric Benjamin Adams of Jacksonville, AR; eight grandchildren Josiah, Layla, Breanna, Wallace, Lorne (II), Rexton, Thomas, and Adeline; his five siblings, Cindy (Adams) Simmons of Leavenworth KS, Dennie M Adams of Pollock TX, Joseph M Adams II of Largo, FL, Jenny L Adams of Pleasant Prairie WI, and Eugene (Mike) Adams of Little Rock, AR , her mother Ivy May Lawson and her four siblings John (Bubba) T. Lawson Jr.,Gary Dale Lawson, Rhonda Kay (Lawson) Perry, and Kendall (Kenny) Wyatt Lawson all living in the Lufkin TX area.

Lorne was quick with a smile, a joke, and friendly conversation; as well as a hand to help or to do if necessary. Lorne served honorably in the U.S. Army with deployments to Operation Desert Storm as well as several tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. He was Honorably discharged in 2013.

Cindy was always there with a smile and loved spending time with family and doing crafts. They both loved riding their motorcycles and spending time outdoors.

Friends are invited to join the family in a Celebration of Life for Lorne and Cindy on September 27, 2021 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Lorne would have appreciated donations to be made to any veteran’s charity organization such as the Wounded Warriors, Gary Sinise Foundation, Freedom Service Dogs of America, or Operation Homefront.
