Carla Walters

Carla Christine “Christi” (Lemke) Walters was born on June 8, 1990, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and passed away surrounded by family and friends on November 2, 2021, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Carl Edward Doles, and her father, Albert Christian “Chris” Lemke, Jr. Christi is survived by her husband, Austin Walters, her mother, Carla Doles-Farmer and her stepfather, Arty Farmer, her sister, Lindsie Lemke, her grandmother, Jeanette Beatrice (Garrison) Doles, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Ronda Walters, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tim and Jarin (Walters) Fontenoy, her 2 nephews, Beckett and Graham Fontenoy, and a host of loved ones and friends.

Christi graduated from Bryant High School in Bryant, Arkansas, in 2008, and from Memphis College of Art and Design in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sculpting. Christi enjoyed a variety of creative endeavors, ranging from painting, sculpting, metalsmithing, crocheting, knitting, fashion designing, and creating and marketing vintage clothing, in addition to establishing her own vintage clothing design company, “Carla June LLC.”

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Austin’s and Christi’s GoFundMe page at: https://gofund.me/f2d5ebe9 to assist with final expenditures and life expenses resulting from Christi’s illness. Details regarding a memorial service have yet to be determined.
