Amy Ashley

Amy Southern Ashley, 39, passed away on August 8, 2016 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Amy was born on July 17, 1977 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Wic Southern and Mary Ann Southern of Walnut Cove. A loving mother, daughter, sister and friend, Amy loved the beach and had a zeal for life.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Billy Southern, Betty Hilton, Bill McGee and Walter Hilton.
In addition to her parents, Amy is survived by her grandmother Patricia Southern of Walnut Cove, sons Cameron Denny of Walnut Cove (special friend Alix Shaver) and Evan Ashley of Leesburg, Georgia, and her brother, Bill Southern (wife Beth and children Kate, Flynn, Caroline) of King.

A memorial service to honor Amy will be held August 20, 2016 at Stokesburg United Methodist Church in Walnut Cove, NC at 2 PM. Family will receive guests following the service at the home of Mary Ann Southern, 615 Summit Street, Walnut Cove.
