Melvin was full of life, had a laugh like no other and a smile to match. He did not hesitate to help someone or to give his opinion. His love for life was matched only by his love for family and friends. Melvin was a beautiful force of nature and if you ever met him once, you remembered him. That is because he raised the frequency in every room he entered with his contagious smile and happy go lucky disposition.
Melvin was a collector of pigs. Small ones, big ones and even flying ones. So many pigs!
As a father and grandfather he was always there to listen and advise them, no matter the situation. He tried to show them by example that there is nothing in life that is unreachable if you truly want it and are willing to put in the work. He was always there to help them get back up when they stumbled. He was amazing as a father and grandfather.
As a husband, there are no simple or few words to describe all that he was. Always watching over and listening to all I said, even when I thought he wasn’t. Bringing joy and tears when he would come through with whatever it was I may have whispered to another that I would like to have or do. He was strong and always found a way to take our love beyond that imaginable reach. He was true and forever faithful.
RIP until we all meet again Melvin.
