On March 3rd, 2022, Lydia (Linda) Geraldine Woodall, 79, died at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock with her family by her side.
Linda was a firecracker of a woman — strong willed her whole life and fiercely protective of her family. She burned brightly and lived her life as though she would be here forever. There wasn’t a soul in the world that could change her mind once it was made up.
She enjoyed spending her time reading mystery novels, caring for her plants and hanging out with her Chihuahua Bella. Linda always had something to chat with you about and would often follow her visitors to the door to continue a conversation. She would sit outside with her coffee, watch the hummingbirds, and talk for hours. She was an animal lover with an open door for strays and even the occasional wild animal. She loved to play card games and — to hear her tell it — she never lost at spades. She was a mother, a friend, and a confidant to anyone that needed her. She was baptized at Monticello Church of Christ.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Brown and Romey Floyd; her brother, Romey Floyd Jr.; her darling cat companion Keanu; and her beloved husband, Henry Woodall. She is survived by her children, Henry Woodall and Rena Barnett; her grandchildren, Brandy Woodall and Adrienne Woodall, and her great-grandson, Kai Oliver King. She has moved on to be reunited with her loved ones and to meet her dear friend Jesus. While we know it will be a blessed reunion for her, she will be sorely missed by all whose heart she has touched.
