After a long, valiantly fought battle with cancer, Wilma Malone gained her wings July 12, 2023. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Wilma was born May 25, 1965 to H. O. and Marie Davidson. She graduated Bald Knob High School in 1983 and remained a loyal Bulldog fan throughout her life.
Wilma chose the transportation industry as her field of work. She wore many hats and made innumerable friends. Anyone who knew Wilma loved Wilma. She had a funny, sarcastic humor and a heart that knew no limit. Anything happening to her family or friends, she considered was happening to her, be it good times or bad. She was the first to arrive with a gift, food or offering of whatever was needed. To say Wilma was a good cook is an understatement. She was the best. If Wilma was cooking everyone knew they were in for a feast. Wilma was a Champion and will be missed but never forgotten by all who knew her.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, sister Diane Miller and one nephew. She leaves to cherish her memory: Steve Malone her husband of 27 years; daughter Shelby Malone (D. J. Romero); sister, Joyce Miller (Carl); brother, Hubert Davidson; sister, Charolette Counts (Richard) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunt and a vast host of friends.
Her Memorial will begin at 1400 on July 22, 2023 at New Life Church 107 Commercial St. Cabot, AR. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her honor to New Life Church.
Arrangements by Arkansas Cremation, 10515 W Markham St, Ste B1, Little Rock, AR 72205.
