Rocky (William Dean) Hayward, Jr., 62, of Hot Springs went to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 21st, 2019. Rocky was born on May 28, 1957, in Willows, California, son of Barbara Meyers and the late William Hayward of Willows, California. He was the third of six children.
Rocky was the sole proprietor of Rocky's Barber Corner in Hot Springs Village. An avid hunter and fisherman, he could be found in the woods or on the lake when not cutting hair in his barbershop. His favorite fishing hole remains a closely guarded secret.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather, William J. Meyers of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Left to celebrate his well-lived life are his mother, Barbara Meyers of Hot Springs, brothers, Howard Sellers of Meadow Vista, California, Greg Meyers of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Lyndon Meyers of Aubrey, Texas, sisters, Diana DeWitt of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Joanna Collier of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and his daughter, Roxanne Roberts of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and her two children.
There will be a graveside service at Oak Hill Cemetery on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at 2:00 PM. The cemetery is located at 532 Danville Road, Hot Springs, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to Teen Challenge of Arkansas, 1679 N Hwy 7, Hot Springs, Arkansas, 71909.
