Victor “Pete” Peterson, age 76, Retired USAF, died on June 18, 2015 at his home in Jacksonville, following a long illness. He was originally from Wakefield, Michigan. He held two Bachelor Degrees from the University of Central Arkansas. He loved to travel and in his travels he covered 6 continents and 49 states. He climbed Mt. Fuji and Mt. Ararat.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Victoria; three sisters, Barbara Linn, Karen Pedrin, and Loretta Jaswick.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Peterson, of 49 years; his daughter Rebecca (John) of Virginia; three sisters, Alfreda Fergunson, Margaret Ragan, and Roberta Pedrin; extended family Dawn (Gary) Heymach. Memorial Service will be 12 p.m., June 26, 2015 at Little Rock National Cemetery.
