Vanessa Steeland

Vanessa Ann Herring Steeland, age 57, of Clarendon, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She was born October 15, 1961 in Van Nuys, California.  Vanessa had so much love for so many people, of all kinds.  She had the hugest heart and so much love to give to all.  She liked to do arts and crafts, particularly stained glass work.  She loved plants, especially ivy, roses, and poinsettias and always had several plants in and around her home.  She liked to fish on occasion and was always playing with her animals. She enjoyed having a great time listening to music and being with friends.

In addition to her mother, Alice Ann Denton Dean, she was preceded in death by two loves of her life, whom she is now in Heaven dancing with, Marty Self and Sean Walton.

She is survived by her daughter Valaree Denyse Christodoulidis; four sisters, Denise Robinson, Ramona Pye, Melissa Booker, and Nan Ewan; her father, George Edward Herring; numerous relatives, and friends. She loved all her family and was very close with her daughter, sisters, and nieces (Alyssa and Allie).

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Executive Hall, 620 Madison Street in Clarendon, Arkansas.
