Troy Glenn and Mary Louise (Murphy) Martin of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away within six weeks of each other. They would have celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary on June 25, 2018. The two of them worked together as an inseparable team and couple. Mary was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis over 30 years ago and began her life in a wheelchair. Troy become her dedicated caregiver and never left her side. The two of them exemplified marriage and lived out the marriage vows they spoke to each other.
Although disabled, Mary was always positive and displayed an ear to ear smile. She enjoyed amateur photography and Troy’s cooking.
Troy retired from the Albemarle Corporation and worked part time for Neal Frazier as an Electrician. He enjoyed hunting.
Life for Troy and Mary wasn’t easy, but you never heard them say that. Their faith in Jesus Christ and the love of their family carried them through. Their six grandchildren were the highlight and excitement that they needed to face each new tomorrow.
They are survived by two children; Amy Booth and husband, Robbie and Scott Martin and wife, Sarah; six grandchildren, Ava, Addison, Branton, Arianna, Annabelle, and Abel and one spoiled pup, named Gizmo.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Mary (Westbrook) Murphy and survived by two brothers, Ricky Murphy and Jay Murphy.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace (Parker) Martin and survived by three sisters, Deannie Moss, Helen White and Joyce Blocker.
