Theodore Harding Stoudt was born July 13, 1944, in Prescott, Arkansas. He passed away on January 19, 2024, after a decline in his health. Theodore was 79 years of age. Some knew him by Ted or Teddy, but his close family and friends called him “Lightning.” Theodore graduated from Gurdon High School in 1962. He served in the National Guard and attended basic training at Fort Polk, Louisiana in the Third Battalion Company D. In 1963, Theodore started his lifelong career with the Union Pacific Railroad. He worked as a conductor from 1963 until he retired in 2007. Theodore’s main hobby was deer hunting. He enjoyed years of spending deer season at the camp with his lifelong friends. Theodore is survived by his wife of 56 years Betty Howell Stoudt of Gurdon, Arkansas, one daughter, Kristin Jester of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and two granddaughters, Railey Williams and Devan Jester both of San Francisco, California. Theodore was predeceased by his parents, Joe Perry and Loraine Crawley Stoudt, and his brother Timmy Stoudt.
