Rosanna Lynn Pence

Rosanna Lynn Pence, age 67, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on February 25, 2023 at her son’s home in Conway. Born on June 7^th, 1955 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to the late Tryon and Corinne Lewis. She is survived by her sons Wesley Pence of Conway, Ark. and Evan Pence (Becca) of Conway, Ark.; her cherished grandchildren Easton and Addison Pence; her brother, T. Clark Lewis II (Connie) of Morrilton, Ark.; beloved nieces and extended family members. 

Lynn graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1973 then moved on to get her degree in Zoology from the University of Arkansas in 1977. She then received her law degree from the UA-Little Rock Law School in 1985. 

She spent 35 years working for Center for Arkansas Legal Services where she thrived in her role as a staff attorney and advocated for low-income individuals dealing with divorce, child custody and domestic relations cases. 

She was a dedicated member of her book club and was an avid reader. She enjoyed working outside in her yard, going on walks and doing anything involving nature. In her retirement, she joined the AR Master Naturalists, which she absolutely loved. Lynn also adored her sons and her grandkids. She had sleepovers with the grandkids as often as she could and always had fun activities planned for them. Family was incredibly important to her and she always prioritized time with her family. She loved to travel. She took her sons on multiple trips to National and State Parks and even overseas when they were growing up. 

There will be a memorial celebration for family and close friends only, to honor her life and accomplishments. To honor Lynn, memorials may be made to Foothills AR Master Naturalists at 1800 Cox Cove, Conway, AR 72034. Checks should be made to FAMN and identified as Lynn Pence memorial.
