Ronnie Melton

Ronnie “Steve” Melton, 74, of Bryant, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021.

Steve was born on November 22, 1946 to the late J C “Bill” and Berta Bratton

Melton in Beech Grove, AR.

Steve enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, boating, hunting

and all genres of music. He was interested in both recent and ancient history.

Steve was of the Christian faith.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; daughter Ronda “Sissy” EzzEldin;

grandson Tanner Melton; and brother Jerry Melton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara; daughter Renee Tackett

(Robert); sons Brad Melton (Renee), Jason Burke (Brandy); Son-in-law Ahmed

EzzEldin; granddaughters Santana McGraw, Laikin Davis, Danielle Melton;

grandsons Ryan and Kyler Burke, Strody Melton, Enki and Deacon Melton; great--

grandson Brayden Welborn; great-granddaughter Jade Griffis; and a host of other

family and friends.

Per Steve’s wishes, he will be cremated with no funeral service. A private

memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Baptist Medical Center; Baptist Hospice

and Dr. Jason Holder for the care he received in his last days; and Dr. Michael

Beard and his staff that provided care for him over the last 20 years.
