Ronald "Ron" Jay Haley

Ronald “Ron” Jay Haley was born May 02, 1948, in Columbus, Kansas to J.R. & Ruth Haley. He passed from this life on April 20, 2024, at WRMC in Fayetteville,  AR.

 

Ron was preceded in death by his parents J.R. & Ruth Haley and daughter, Wyndee Diane Haley.

 

He owned Shiloh Steel Fabricators with other family members for 39 years. Ron loved to play pool and in 1990 he started making fine custom pool cues and was respected world wide for his craftmanship. Ron graduated from Springdale High School in 1966. He served his country in the United States Army National Guard.  Ron had attended the First United Methodist Church in Springdale.

 

Survivors include his wife Jaylon Banks Haley of 55 years; sons Chris Haley and wife Kelly of Fayetteville and Church Haley and fiancée Ice Smith of Brox, New York; two grandchildren Vesper Haley and Nicolas Haley; brothers, Chuck (Janet) Haley and James (Tracy) Haley.  He leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, one uncle, and a host of friends.

 

The Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 P.M  Monday, April 29^th at the First United Methodist Church 206 W. Johnson Ave. Springdale,  Arkansas.

 

In lieu of flowers please make memorials in Ron’s memory to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 320 Executive Ct. #302, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 or First United Methodist Church C/O Bread of Life 206 w. Johnson Ave.  Springdale,  AR  72764
