Roger Sheskey

Roger Sheskey, 71, died June 21 2016, in Little Rock, Arkansas, after a four year fight with cancer. He was of the Christian faith. Born February 7, 1945 in West Virginia. He lived the last 25 years of his life in Fox, Arkansas, which he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Ware Sheskey, of the home and his beloved dogs and birds (inside and out) which were his best friends besides some local neighbors. He is survived by a daughter, Dana Merchant and husband of St Joseph, Michigan; brothers, Brian Taylor, wife Maria and family of Rutledge, Tennessee; Gary Davis, wife Tricia and family of Newport News, Virginia; Ron Sheskey of Thompsons Station, Tennessee, along with many other extended family.
He also had his stepfamily, daughter Deanna Pervis of Alameda, California; son Robert Pervis, wife Ingrid and granddaughter, Gabi of Mtn. View, Arkansas; granddaughter, Ashly Zink, husband Chris and Great-Granddaughter, Lexi, of Russellville, Arkansas; Grandson, Robert Pervis and wife Jordan of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Opal Taylor of West Virginia, Roy Davis, and a brother Larry Gillam of West Virginia.
Roger was an avid bird watcher and loved nature. RIP, dear friend, you will be sorely missed. Thank you to all that sent their prayers. No services are planned.
