Robin Renee Hinton Raper of Hot Springs died December 29, 2020 at Lakewood Healthcare in Hot Springs after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Robin was born on December 17th, 1955 in Stuttgart to Mary Alice and Herbert Hinton of Hazen. She was the fifth of seven children. Robin was a 1974 graduate of Hazen High School. She joined Walmart soon after graduation, becoming an Associate while working in Stuttgart, Ft. Smith, Lonoke, Hot Springs, and retired in 2018. Robin loved living on Lake Ouachita near her sister, Nyna, riding on the lake and enjoying the outdoors.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, and older sister, Karon Hinton. She is survived by three sons; Kevin (Heather) Raper of Stuttgart; Andrew (Lacey) Kimsey of Van Buren; and Matt Kimsey who is serving in the U.S. Army in Germany; sisters Nyna (Tom) Oshel of Hot Springs; Linda (Dickie) Black of Pine Bluff; Vickey (Mike) McCallister of Spring, Texas; Theresa (Kevin) Garland of Little Rock and brother Butch Hinton of Texarkana, Texas. Also, five grandchildren, Nichole Kimsey, Krista Raper, Emma Kimsey, Ethan Kimsey and Evan Kimsey. Also surviving are her Aunt Doris (Robby) Selvedge of Hartman and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
