Roberta "Robbie" Louise Buckner Poort, age 56, was received into glory at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas on Sunday, October 7, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Oscoda, Michigan to Robert and Annie Buckner on August 5, 1962.
Robbie never met a stranger, she welcomed everyone without question and listened with an open heart. She saw the good in all people. Robbie was a proud Nannie and cherished every moment and conversation shared with her grandbabies. She was a woman of strong faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, always believing in His plans.
Robbie is preceded in death by her Papa Bill and Granny Gladden, Papa Buckner and Nana, Papa and Granny Whitfield.
She leaves behind two sons, Cornelius Carl Poort III and Justin Neil Poort and wife, Cheriti; two grandsons, Carl and Cohen Poort; her father, Robert Buckner and wife Carla; her mother, Annie Buckner; sister, Becki Mahan and husband, Mark; brother, Bobby Buckner; numerous Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held to honor and celebrate Robbie's life at 4 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Stanfill Baptist, 12905 Fortson Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076
