Robert Owen Winkler, 77, of North Little Rock, Arkansas died April 12, 2017. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 28, 1939
He was preceded in death by parents John and Lillian and two brothers, George and Glenn of Sherwood, Arkansas.
He graduated from Omaha Technical High School in 1957 and worked as a machinist for Union Pacific Railroad from 1958 to 1999.
Bob was a wonderful friend and neighbor. He was always busy with projects, moving cars for Johnny "O," and traveling to Vegas during football. His nickname was Greenbay after his team the Packers. He was a world traveler which opened up his view of the world. He was very much in love with Teddy, his partner and husband of 43 years.
Survivors include his husband, Tedd Johnson of North Little Rock; his little dog, Foxx; brother, Ed of North Little Rock; sister, Julie Hurner of Columbus, Nebraska; brothers, Ken and Pete of Omaha, and Johnny of Nashville, TN.
