Robert Carroll “Bob” White, who was affectionately known as Quail to his close friends, passed from this life on April 1, 2025. He was born Christmas Day 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Robert E. and Eleanor White and his sister Judy Dill of Forrest City, Arkansas.
Bob lived and worked in Little Rock where he was a homebuilder and served on the Board of the Little Rock Home Builder’s Association for a number of years. He also served in the Arkansas National Guard. However, Bob was most proud of his grandsons.
Bob loved traveling with his wife Chris and spending time on Lake Ouachita. Bob will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, love for his family, and his selfless nature
He is survived by his wife, Claudia “Chris” White; his daughter Shannon Ball (Brian), his son Jacob White (Brooke), and his 4 grandsons, Philip Ball, Butler White, Patrick Ball and Peyton White.
A memorial service is scheduled for April 26, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock.
The family thanks Arkansas Hospice for their support and care.
