Robert Henry Knight, 64, of Hot Springs, AR, went to be with the Lord on March 10th at CHI St. Vincent Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was born to Charles, Sr. and Emma Knight in Michigan City, IN in 1959. He is a 1978 graduate of Sylvan Hills High School where he made many lifelong friends.
Throughout his life he was diversely employed and enjoyed sharing many stories with friends and family about his experiences in life. Robert loved God and his family above all else and enjoyed spending time with loved ones. You could often find him planning a camping trip or ready for the occasional fishing trip to the dam. He had numerous animals over the years that he loved like family.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Emma Knight, a son Brian Knight, and long time partner Sandy Skinner. He is survived by his son Chris Knight (Caitlin) of Bentonville, AR, his daughter Katie Knight (Brian) of Hot Springs, AR, a brother Charles Knight Jr. (Cauline) of Trumann, AR, and his grandchildren Elliett Knight, Charles Knight, Harrison Knight, and Eliza Lou Knight all of Bentonville, AR. He also has countless other friends and family who will carry on his memory!
Memorials can be made in his honor to the Humane Society of Garland County, AR. A memorial service celebrating Robert’s life will be held on Saturday, March 16th at 4:00pm at 365 Church (formerly First General Baptist) in North Little Rock, AR.
