Robert Arnold Hubble

Robert A. Hubble of Hot Springs, AR died August 6, 2024 after a long illness. Robert was born in Little Rock, AR on December 21, 1942 to the late Arnold and Leona Hubble. His early years were spent moving with his family when his Army father was stationed at various locations in the States and Germany.

Robert graduated from Bryant high school and attended University of Arkansas, Little Rock. Robert retired from AT&T in Dallas, TX after 31 years of service. The family moved to Hot Springs Village where Robert fished and played golf for 26 years. Due to his illness, Robert and his wife Truda moved to West Shores Retirement Community in Hot Springs.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary Hubble, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jane and Bill Simmons. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Truda, brother-in-heart Herschel Cast, sister-in-law Joyce Hubble of Greenwood, nieces Teddi Cole (Troy), Carmym Ray, Karyn Clifton (Randy), and nephew Toby Simmons (Penny) and lots of great nieces and nephews.

 Memorial services will be held at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 310 West 17th Street, in Little Rock on August 16, 2024 at 12:00 noon with the Very Rev Amy Dafler Meaux celebrating. Internment of ashes will follow in Treadway Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.
