He was a man strong in his faith and as tough as the bricks he once laid. Born into a military family and with a strong work ethic, even from an early age he made sure his loved ones were provided for. He was an Army Veteran, bricklayer, Postman, and above all else, the most amazing loving husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa. He always put his family first, his family was his world!
He was the kind of man you could ask to build your patio, and after a harsh day in the sun still find the time to play catch. He was the kind of man who when cancer had taken over, he was in so much pain and could barely walk and see, yet he still attended his granddaughter's graduation, plays and so much more. He was the kind of man you could depend on, who always made time for the people he loved, even when it wasn't easy, convenient, or expected.
He was loved and adored by many people. He loved spending time with his family. Family time was his most cherished moment. He loved gardening, fishing, nature, traveling, music, singing, wood working, building things with his hands and online gaming with his grandchildren. He loved football and could often be seen supporting his home team with a Razorback hat. We will always cherish our times spent with him and he will be in our hearts forever. No words could ever express our love for him and how much he will be deeply missed. It would take more than one lifetime in fact many to express how amazing he was. Special thanks to Arkansas Hospice for helping with home hospice care during the most difficult time and Genesis Cancer Center. Special thanks also to Dr. Muldoon.
