Robert "Bob" Louis Haynie

Robert Louis “Bob” Haynie passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at the age of 80.

Bob was a known homebuilder in Sherwood from the late 60’s to the 90’s. Early on, Bob was a railroad man with Rock Island Railroad. He also sold real estate alongside his wife, Carolyn, and worked for many years alongside his son, Bobby, in his commercial painting business, Painter Bob’s. Bob opened a video arcade in Sherwood, Fat Harry’s, so that his kids had a place to hang out and he could relive his childhood.

Bob loved fast cars, boats, and motorcycles. His family has countless memories to share of lake weekends full of boating and scuba diving, numerous family vacations, and of Bob living large and  being a free spirit.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Debbie Nash (James), his son, Bobby (Whitney) Haynie, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and his beloved fur family – Little Man, Harley, and Scooter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, his parents – LB and Frances Haynie – and his daughter, Paula Shane Winstead.
