It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Keith Hubbard, who left this world on April 2, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on January 22, 1963, in California, Richard was the cherished son of John and Minnie Hubbard. Richard's life journey began in sunny California, but he eventually found his home in East End, Arkansas, where he created countless memories with family and friends.

Richard graduated from Sheridan High School, where he enjoyed playing basketball. His athleticism was matched only by his larger-than-life personality. Friends and classmates fondly remember him as someone who could always make them laugh, no matter the situation. His sense of humor was a gift that he shared with everyone around him, leaving a trail of smiles in his wake.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, John and Minnie Hubbard, as well as many beloved aunts and uncles. His canine companion, Pepper, who brought him much joy, also passed before him, a reminder of the love and loyalty that animals bring to our lives. A proud family man, Richard is survived by his beloved daughter, Jessica Kimbell, and her husband Ricky.

He took immense pride in being a father and later a grandfather. Richard leaves behind a legacy of love through his cherished grandson, Caleb Tollison (his wife Natia), and his two granddaughters, Ava and Brooklyn Baltz. Richard’s life was also rich with companionship, featuring the love of three brothers: Mike Hubbard (with his wife, Melody), David Hubbard, and Chris Hubbard (his wife, Liz). Their connections were deepened over the years through shared experiences, laughter, and support during life's challenges. Additionally, Richard leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, friends, and extended family who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts.

An avid outdoorsman, Richard found joy in hunting and spent countless hours exploring nature, often with family by his side. His love of music was evident in his passion for playing guitar, which brought joy to gatherings and shared moments. Whether he was strumming a tune around a campfire or playing for family members, Richard’s musical spirit added a unique harmony to the lives of those around him. Richard also had a passion for collecting arrowheads; each piece in his collection told a story and represented his love for history and adventure.

Richard Keith Hubbard’s life was filled with laughter, love, and adventure. As we remember him, let us celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the countless memories we shared. He taught us the value of family, the importance of laughter, and the beauty of living life to the fullest. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. A graveside service to celebrate Richard's life will be held at Salem Cemetery at a later date. Family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and love, as they remember the joyous moments and the indelible mark Richard left on their hearts.
