Regina Gail (Johnson) Kelly

Regina Gail Kelly, Age 71, of Locust Bayou, AR departed this earth on 29 April 2023.  She was most known for her cooking, with the ability to host many, and her kindness and unconditional love to all that spent any amount of time with her.  The pride of her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Most all that knew her considered her “family” as she did in return. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, James E. Johnson and Opal Mae Johnson, her husband of 47 years, James E. (Jimmy) Kelly, and her son, Jeff Kelly.  Left behind to cherish her memories are her son, Chad Kelly (Lenee) of Conway, her daughter in law, Mendy Kelly of Locust Bayou, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. 

The family would like to invite you to join us in celebrating her life on 06 May, 2023 at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church near Clarendon, AR.  Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 and the Memorial Service will follow.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Amy DeLuca for not only providing care, but for also being a caring friend.  Also, we would like to thank the staff at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs for the loving care she received in her last days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WeAreThe22.  A Veteran based organization actively combating Veteran Suicide.
