Raymond “Ray” Darrell High, passed away on June 21st, 2024 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Born September 18, 1960, in Overland Park, KS. Ray attended Arkansas City High School graduating in 1979. He later graduated from Cowley County Community College with an associate’s degree. Ray then married Catherine Randall in 1983. They resided in Winfield, KS to start their family and later divorced.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Arthur Kenneth High and Frances Lenora High (Dodd); grandson Nolan Ryan Kerr; sister Donna Kay High; grandparents Raymond and Sophia High; and grandparents Lenore and Jimmy Dodd. Survived by his son, Kevin Moore and spouse Charles Moore of Mulvane, KS; daughter Kayla Kerr and spouse Andrew Kerr of Mulvane, KS; grandchildren Easton Kerr and Carson Kerr; sister Dianne Conarty of Wichita, KS; sister Deborah Scott and spouse Les Scott of Tampa, FL.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He also had a large passion for the game of baseball.
