Peggy Meredith

Peggy Leah Coffield Meredith passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the people she loved most on March 1, 2022. Born on February 3, 1949, to Lt. Col. Peter L. Coffield and Marjorie C. Hefner Coffield, Peggy was 73 years old.  She is proceeded in by death by her parents, her sister Catherine Coffield Sullivan, and her brother Michael Coffield.

Peggy leaves behind to cherish her memory her only child Leah Michelle “Micky” Birdsong, her granddaughter Anna Christine Stark, her brother Patrick Coffield, her nephew's Robert and James Sullivan and a host of friends and family that she also referred to as her children and who called her mom and Miss Peggy.

Peggy graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1967 and earned a business degree at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville in 1982.  Peggy enjoyed gardening, drawing, drafting, and studying holistic medicine. She was also a competition country and western dancer in her day.  She was a die-hard Republican and Trump supporter and enjoyed debating her beliefs on Facebook with her friends.
