O Greer

O.F. ’Bud’ Greer, 72, of Brinkley, Arkansas passed away after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, August 17th, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, AR. Bud was born to the late James Orville Greer and Willie Lee Greer in Morrilton, AR on November 13, 1940. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jackie Greer; six children Michael Greer, Mitch Greer, Michelle Newth, Melanie Mitchell, Lesha Coleman, and Brian Greer. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and two sisters, Arvella Pruitt and Irene Waters. Bud was retired from Haverty’s Furniture and enjoyed wood-working, gardening, and spending time with his family. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Haley Shaw, Dr. Kewen Jauss, and AR. Hospice - St. Vincent for the special care they gave Bud. A memorial service will be held for Bud on Saturday, 1:00 p.m., August 24th at Central Baptist Church located at 5200 Fairway Ave, North Little Rock, AR. Those who would like to send flowers, please have them delivered to the church on Saturday morning.
