Monta Martin

Monta Martin was born April 29, 1911, and left this earth on June 8, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Garth, of 35 years. She leaves behind one daughter, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Martin lived in Mexico, Texas, and Arkansas, and traveled to Germany, Austria, and Hawaii. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She contributed her longevity to her parents' genes and her desire to lead a quiet, peaceful life. She was thankful for the wonderful life she had and to God for being so good to her. A memorial service will be held at Briarwood Nursing and Rehab (where she lived since 2011), 516 S. Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock, on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. Services entrusted to Arkansas Cremation. Guests may register at www.ArkansasCremation.com.
