Minnie M. Runyon, age 76, of Pearcy, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born in Dadeville, AL to the late John and Lalah Elkins on April 9, 1941. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and loved to fish.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 47 years, Roy Runyon; two sons, Randy and Terry; two sisters, Viola Jenkins and Lorane Elkins, and three brothers, Nal, Horace, and Tommy Elkins.
She is survived by daughters, Marsha (Harold) Mitchell, Michelle (Randy) Deweese, Rhonda (Greg) Kelley, and Regina Runyon; sons, Gary (Rendi) Hepburn, and Darryl (Janice) Elkins; one sister, Dorothy Storms; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be announced in the near future.
