Michael "Shawn" Kennedy, age 43, of Clarksville, AR earned his angel wings on Thursday, September 22, 2016. He was born on December 25, 1972, in Jacksonville, AR.
Born with Down Syndrome, Shawn was very special and accomplished much in his life, including working regularly and living independently.
Shawn loved Special Olympics and participated in multiple sports; swimming and bowling were his favorites.
Shawn is survived by his mother, Lenora Ivy Herr, an aunt, Cheryl Page, an uncle, Terry Ivy, and a host of other relatives and friends, including a support staff from Friendship Community Care.
A Memorial Service will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 27025 Kanis Road, Little Rock, AR, on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at 3:00 P.M.
