Mary Lisa (Goodhart) Steadman

Mary Lisa Goodhart Steadman, 61, a lifelong resident of Little Rock, entered enternal life with Our Lord Jesus Christ on November 6, 2023. Known by all her family and friends as “Lisa”, she was born on September 19, 1962 living in the Oak Forest area with her mom, dad, and seven brothers and sisters.  The family attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church and the elementary school there. Often Lisa could be seen walking the six blocks to school and playing along the way with her siblings. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  She graduated from Mount St. Mary Academy and attended UALR majoring in Art and Photography.    She married her soulmate Bart Steadman in June 1984 and together they had four children, Christopher, Sam, Katie, and Jonathan.

Lisa loved camping and swimming at the lake. Lisa was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. She was devoted to the Divine Mercy Chaplet of St. Sister Faustina (who she felt a closeness to because of her Polish descent).

praying for a happy life and death.  Lisa’s Mass of Christian Burial will be November 27th, 2023 at Good Counsel Church 12th and Jackson, Little Rock at 10:00 a.m.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Aubrey and Regina (Szczepanski) Goodhart , sister Barbara Goodhart , and son Christopher Dane Steadman.  She is survived by husband Bart, children Sam, Katie, and Jonathan, grandchild Emmadenise as well as her siblings Kathy Childs, Karen Flake, John Goodhart, George Goodhart, James Goodhart and Jane Goodhart.  Lisa was always a loving big sister to her special little sister, Jane. She was cheerful in the face of adversity during her recent declining heath. We commend Lisa into the loving arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
