Marilyn Carola Glasgow

(Marilyn) Carola Glasgow, 65, was born on April 21, 1958, and died on December 10, 2023.  Carola was the eldest of 5 sisters and a brother. After her love of cats, Carola relished the role of Great Aunt. She always brought the best pool toys and gadgets to the delight of our 5 littles. Carola graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s from Christian Brothers College in Memphis, TN. While living in Memphis for over 20 years, Carola indulged her eclectic music interests by attending countless concerts of the best in the business. A quirky woman who never conformed to the norm, Carola’s thirst for knowledge resulted in a wealth of trivia which made her a daunting opponent in any game. Carola is survived by her sisters Anna Glasgow, Martha Glasgow, Michele Glasgow and Margaret Glasgow, all of Little Rock; her brother Charly Glasgow of Bloomington Springs, TN; 4 nieces & nephews, 5 great nieces & nephews, and cherished friends. Carola’s desire was to have a big party to celebrate her and is planned for a future date. Carola died of metastatic breast cancer. She was diagnosed by a long-overdue mammogram, provided free by the UAMS Mammovan at the Arkansas State Fair. In memory of Carola, practice preventative medicine and get your screenings!
