Lynda Kaye (Wheeler) Barrett

February 13, 1960 — January 6, 2024

Benton, Arkansas

In the loving memory of our mother, Lynda Kaye Barrett who passed away on January 6, 2024. Lynda was the devoted mother of Jeff, Brian, Angela Kaye, and Jeromy Hamrick and loving grandmother to JD, Weston, Gavin, JT, Rayne, Jacob, Merrix, River, Jazzmyn, Cali, Marley, Gannon, Oaklee, and great-granddaughter Blakelynn Kaye. Lynda will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Lynda was always there for us, whether we needed a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or a hot meal. She was a woman of strong will and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a beautiful soul who was driven in life by taking care of those she loved.

She is eternally reunited with her husband Jon Barrett, daughter-in-law Randi Barnes, her parents, and a host of close family and friends that she had greatly cherished in life. We take solace in knowing that she is not alone in the thereafter, she is surrounded with love just as she was here on earth.

The celebration of life service will be held at East Union Missionary Baptist Church on January 20, 2024, at 1p.m. Following the service, food and visiting will be held at Jeromy and Katie’s house.

Mom, you will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget you. We love you so much.
