Larry Trent Seigrist, born on August 18, 1967, in Beaumont Texas, passed away on September 6, 2024. Larry lived a life defined by his career as a cross-country truck driver, a profession that allowed him to traverse the vast landscapes of this country while creating lasting memories along the way.
Larry had a special bond with his son, Corey Seigrist, as the two would embark on adventurous truck driving trips together during the summers. These journeys not only strengthened their relationship but also instilled a sense of adventure and wonder in Corey. Additionally, Larry shared many enjoyable moments with his daughter, Lacey Seigrist, as they frequently caught up on the latest television shows. These shared interests highlighted Larry's dedication as a father, and his love for his children was evident in their many cherished memories.
Known for his blunt demeanor and straightforward nature, Larry was never one to shy away from expressing his thoughts and opinions. His personality was as vibrant as his hobbies; while on the road, he found great joy in listening to Western tapes by Louis L’Amour and was an avid wrestling fan. Furthermore, Larry was fortunate to spend time with the band Third Degree, where he formed friendships with its members, reflecting his warm and welcoming spirit.
Larry is survived by his children, Corey Seigrist and Lacey Seigrist; his father, Estes Seigrist; siblings Regina Beasley, Kim Seigrist, Allie Williams, Gayla Barnhill, and Sammy Seigrist and wife Cristen; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Seigrist, who he is now reunited with in eternal rest.
A visitation will be held on September 13, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at First Pentecostal Church (1401 Calvary Road North Little Rock). Family and friends are invited to come and pay their respects, remembering a man whose life was marked by hard work and family ties. Larry Trent Seigrist will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
