Landon Garner

Landon Garner passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the age of

24. He was predeceased by his great grandparents, Tommy and Elizabeth Robertson of Hot

Springs; E.B. and Wanda Adams of West Memphis; and his uncle, Greg Taylor. He is lovingly

remembered by his mother, Ashley C. Cook; his brother, Logan Garner; his maternal

grandparents, Tony and Kay Adams; his aunt, Amber Bates (Brandon), cousins Brayden and

Gabby Bates; great aunts, Mary Tom Taylor and Carol Scrivner (Mark).

Landon had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and loved attending Legacy Church. He had a unique

sense of humor and loved everyone. He never met a stranger and never forgot your name and

would always think you could use a hug. He graduated from Lakeside in 2016. His time at

Lakeside School was filled with special attention and love from all the staff, especially the

administration.

He loved to go on vacations with his mom, fish in Uncle Jack’s Pond, and craft and play games

with his aunts. He was his brother’s #1 fan and loudly cheered at every game. He also loved to

swim and spend time with his cousins and his special friend, Aunt Amber.

Landon had a passion for people. Had Landon been able, he would have become a preacher

for he wanted everyone to personally know his Savior. His many medical personnel would all

get the “Do you know Jesus?” question. Landon was such a great gift to all. He loved fiercely

and fought through many battles with much courage.

A visitation will be held from 6-7 Wednesday, February 16th at Legacy Church 3540 Central Ave. in Hot Springs. A celebration of his life will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. with Pastors Larry Burton and John Newman officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Logan Garner, Lakeside School and Administration, Nurse Lynn Burks, and special friend, Brittney Elsea.
