Kevin H. Coble, 51, passed away May 27, 2014. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, May 10, 1963 and graduated from Huntington Catholic High School in 1981. He served in the U.S. Navy 1984-1988, stationed at Barbers Point, Hawaii, in Special Intelligence. Kevin was a member of American Legion Post 85 and a member of Amnity Masonic Lodge #483, both in Huntington. He loved country music, especially "God is Great, Beer is Good, and People are Crazy" and "When I Get Where I’m Going." Before being stricken with ALS, he was a truck driver for US Foods and was an avid bass tournament fisherman. Kevin is survived by his wife Penny; stepchildren Judy Newsome, PJ Newsome, Johnny Newsome and Jason Newsome; eight grandchildren; his father Joe Coble Carol; mother Sandra Kay Colbert; brother Michael Coble Tonya; niece Ashley Coble and nephew Tyler Coble. Donations can be made to the Wounded Worrier Foundation, USO, Riley Children’s Hospital, the Make a Wish Foundation, Shriners Hospital, or the ALS Association. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on June 14th at First Brethren Church, Huntington, Indiana, officiated by Rev. Diana Teusch.
